SangBleu BP
These typefaces were created by Ian Party for his partner Max Buechi’s publication of culture and photography, SangBleu. Stripping his Romain BP down to its bare essentials, Party created a family in the tradition of fashion magazine typography: thin, graceful, classic and modern at once. SangBleu comes in sans and serif varieties, the sans taking on an almost inscriptional quality. The Hairline weights are especially delicate — the Serif is probably the lightest of its class — best used only at very large sizes.

Henrietta Samuels
Sweden’s Hans Samuelson drew upon his background in calligraphy to create Henrietta Samuels, a script rooted in the past but made possible with modern OpenType technology. Hundreds of ligatures, alternates, and swashes work together bringing Samuels’s swooping pen to life. FontShop is honored to be the exclusive source of this unique face.

Regime
Based on 19th century slab serif British “Empire” letterforms, Regime is made a little more contemporary, a little more playful. Like his Mason and Priori fonts, Barnbroook includes both conventional and more experimental versions of most characters.

Alpine Script
Another lively script by Charles Borges de Oliveira for logomarks and packaging. Alpine includes alternative glyphs for variety and good fit in every setting.

Foco
With its four weights and extended Latin language support, Fabio Haag and Veronika Burian’s friendly, organic Foco was already a versatile sans serif. With the newly released italics, it’s even more so.

Ronnia Condensed
Speaking of Veronika Burian, the sans serif she created with TypeTogether partner José Scaglione now has a condensed width, swelling the Ronnia family to 28 fonts.

Aunt Mildred
Now available in OpenType, Akemi Aoki’s Aunt Mildred is one of the best examples of a hand-lettered serif as a typeface, with two weights, small caps, and both lining and oldstyle figures. The imperfect shapes and wobbly baseline bring to mind both whimsical children’s books and the dark wit of Edward Gorey.
