Göran Söderström

Göran Söderström (b. 1974) is a self-taught Swedish type designer and font developer. The typeface that started his obsession with type in 1994 was the initial sketches for his first typeface, Exemplar, but it was not until 2006 he took this obsession seriously and started his own type studio, Autodidakt. Since then he has published several typefaces through different foundries. Today Göran works with typeface development at Pangea design in Stockholm, Sweden. When not doing typefaces he likes to pick up one of his favourite instruments, the guitar or the bass guitar.
