John Critchley

Graduated from Manchester Polytechnic and after a brief spell at the Designers’ Republic, John Critchley joined Neville Brody’s London studio. He worked on a wide variety of mainly print based projects for a global client list including, Armand Basi, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, The Photographers’ Gallery and Fuse. He was later appointed Art Director of MTV with responsibility for overseeing projects throughout the European network, including the prestigious Europe Music Awards. Since then, John has worked for a number of different clients across all media, including projects for the advertising, television, film and music industries. He has recently formed Visual Material which undertakes print, animation and web design projects.
