Born 1973. After school studies at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Diploma in 1999 „die Schriften des Herrn Hemker“, a five-minute animated film. 2000 employed by Hesse-Designstudios in Düsseldorf. Design of a complex type system for Bosch GmbH, consisting of Grotesk, Antiqua and correspondence typefaces. Design of a logo type for Blaupunkt GmbH. From mid 2000 employed by Claus Koch™ Düsseldorf. Among other projects, development of communication solutions for Deutsche Telekom AG, Dresdner Bank AG, E-Plus GmbH and Kabel Berlin-Brandenburg. From the header of the newspaper Rheinische Post a new logo type evolved. During this time, three awards by Deutscher Designer Club. 2003 employment at DMC Hamburg. Development of the On-Air Design of the ARD show „Einfach Millionär“, and of the corporate design for the radio stations of Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg. Since 2004 freelance art director and type designer. Corporate-Design for Entavio GmbH, Primondo GmbH, Fresenius SE, Mainova AG and Jette Joop GmbH. The design of the federal government of Nordrhein-Westfalen won a reddot Design Award in 2008. Invitation to the Allianz Corporate-Type Pitch, design of a headline typeface for Harry-Brot GmbH and Commerzbank AG and a corporate type concept for Würth GmbH. Since 2008 teaching at Fachhochschule Dortmund about type/typography.
