B&P Type Foundry

The Swiss type foundry B&P was founded by Maxime Buechi and Ian Party in 2006. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. B&P Typefoundry is a young and innovative Type Foundry dedicated to the provision of cutting edge, contemporary and personalised typographic products. B&P is also committed to exploring and perpetuating the French and German typographic tradition and history. B&P emphasizes on typographic research and a personal involvement in design and artistic projects like the editorial project founded by Buechi: Sang Bleu. B&P strongly believes that type design should serve and foresee the needs of designers, which can only be achieved through an up-close collaboration and understanding between type designers and graphic/product designers, artists, etc. B&P is also involved in education through lectures and workshops at Art Schools (ECAL, Lausanne Switzerland; LCC, London, UK, etc.).
