Neapolitan
The Neapolitan Type label came about following a 2003 collaboration between type designer Stuart Sandler and lettering artists Crystal Kluge and Dave Cohen. The foundry focuses on new, professionally produced, 1950s-inspired novelty faces, drawing especially from the fun, silly, and decidedly low-brow lettering styles of the period. Like Neapolitan ice cream, the three artists together make a novel combination.
