Co-founder
Fred Smeijers is internationally known for his writing and lectures, but above all, for his type designs. His fonts, like Arnhem and Sansa, are much sought after by designers seeking to dip into the deep well of contemporary Dutch typography.
Founded with Rudy Geeraerts of FontShop Benelux, OurType also features work by
Peter Verheul, a celebrated figure from the “new wave” of Dutch type design, as well as
Nikola Djurek,
Merel Matzinger, and
Artur Schmal.
