ParaType
ParaType has its origins in the time following perestroika, when a group of type designers quit the state-owned Polygraphmash foundry to establish the first Russian digital type foundry. Now, with a collection of almost 400 typefaces, they are unquestionably the leading Russian type foundry.
ParaType applies a multilingual approach to type design. Most of the fonts of the last years were developed for wide varieties of alphabets. ParaType’s standard character set covers Western & Central European, and Cyrillic languages. The ParaType collection also contains Arabic, Armenian, Georgian and Greek fonts.
