Jim Parkinson has been designing letterforms professionally for forty years, starting as a lettering artist for Hallmark Cards in 1964. In 1990 he put away his pen and ink and went totally digital. Many of Jim’s retail font designs are exclusives for The Font Bureau, Agfa/Monotype, Adobe, and ITC. He
also publishes many of his own fonts. Jim specializes in designing and repairing logos for magazines and newspapers.
