Stylus
Stylus Lettering was founded in the 1980’s by Rod McDonald, one of Canada’s most respected typographers. McDonald is known not only for his design work, but also for his affiliation with Smashing Type, an e-zine that aims to “provide a portal into the understanding of type”. The Stylus foundry focuses on tasteful re-interpretations of classic fonts and features Rod McDonald’s re-drawn and extended versions of typefaces by Louis Oppenheim, Frederick W. Goudy and Morris Fuller Benton.
