Typerepublic is an independent type foundry, founded by Andreu Balius in 2003 in Barcelona, Spain. Some of our type designs are the result from a research process on Spanish type history. We like to offer products with a very special local flavour that can be both functional and personal. Typerepublic design retail fonts for professional use together with custom typefaces for corporate and other specific purposes on commission. Some of our typefaces have been awarded several “Excellence in Type Design”. TypeRepublic fonts have been carefully designed, patiently spaced and kerned for setting most Latin script languages. A real process of passion and love!
