Virus Fonts

The Virus foundry was set up by Jonathan Barnbrook, designer of the fonts Exocet and Mason from Emigre, to release his unusual and experimental fonts. The library consists of a mixture of whimsicality and serious typographic experiment with fonts such as NixonScript, a naive script font 'especially to tell lies with', and Prozak, 'an attempt to reduce all letterforms down to the minimum number of character shapes'. The library also contains others including Barnbrook's well known fonts Bastard and Prototype and a sans-serif version of Exocet.
