The seed of inspiration for Oscar Guerreo’s newest design came from the lettering in a in a shop window close to where he lived. The A, V and R caught his eye and he began designing a typeface that was to become Vala. Dramatic yet dashing and with a touch of Bodoni, Vala has a set of swash capitals, lots of lovely lively ligatures and a collection of great alternatives.
