Alisa Nowak is a German type designer based in France. She studied graphic design in Düsseldorf and obtained her diploma in 2009. She subsequently specialized in typeface design in the context of the “post-diplôme typographie & langage" at the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design d’Amiens where she developed her first type family Eskapade.
Alisa worked with Fontyou for 3 years, designing fonts with her legendary rigor but also gently helping and encouraging various ideas of co-creators. Alisa now works as an independent type designer and as a teacher in typography at ÉSAD Amiens.
