Graphic designer Christopher Kalscheuer studied from 1988 to 1994 at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart under Professor Günther Jacki. Since July 1994 he has been working as a designer there in Stuttgart. His first typeface FF Maverick was originally designed for cultural events and projects oriented toward packaging.
