My typographic career began setting headlines for major advertisers in photo-type format. I then worked for several years with award winning designer John Langdon providing hand-lettering services for the graphic design industry. I have also taught typography and design at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Burlington County College in New Jersey. Currently, I am designing and illustrating book covers for Townsend Press and designing type. FLEXION, a collaboration with John Langdon, which was originally designed for use as the credit crawl for the movie The DaVinci Code, recently received an award from the Type Directors Club as one of the best new type designs of 2007. It will be featured in the 2007 TDC annual.
