James Todd
Originally trained as a bespoke tailor, James Todd has changed careers and become actively involved in type design. As it turned out, tailoring, and the staggering amount of attention to detail and focus it requires, was a perfect springboard to begin designing type. One of the driving forces behind his work has been the attention to craft. By focusing not only the craft inherit in drawing and spacing the letters, but also the considerations necessary to provide tools useful throughout a variety of languages and situations, he plans to continue supplying practical typefaces with extensive language support. He has and continues to work with P22 Type Foundry and releases his own typefaces under the name James Todd.
