Jürgen Brinckmann was born in Aachen (Germany) in 1960 with some obvious artistic potential that led him to study fine arts (in Kassel) a couple of years later (1983-90). He concluded his studies with a book of drawings and concentrated then on graphic design with a focus on cultural events. In 1996, he moved to Berlin to work for a schoolbook publishing house and since 2000 he is running his own business again.
