In 1995, Thomas Marecki founded the pop culture magazine Lodown. In addition to his work as publisher and creative director of Lodown magazine, Marecki realized personal and social art and design projects worldwide (also uses the pseudonym 'marok').

His latest project ‘Traphic’ connects visuals and texts based around the headline “Traffic” + “Graphic” = TRAPHIC. His works present an interpretation of various networks, time frames, experiences and the general surroundings of modern-day existence. www.unagibooks.net

PROJECT TRAPHIC
The exibition TRAPHIC represents the natural and necessary result of Marok's linguistic and artistic investigation. This show carries out the concept displayed in the book through installations, graphic artworks and videos juxtaposing various urban materials and mediums.

“With my installment I basically want to create a parallel approach to common things. Link and connect things which are otherwise considered disparate elements, and thus create a present that is both absurd and real - just like today’s reality.” - Thomas Marecki
