Zvika Rosenberg
Zvika Rosenberg received his B.A. in graphic design at the Bezalel Academy of Design, Jerusalem, Israel in 1975. He is founder, president and principal designer of Masterfont, world’s largest Hebrew font foundry. Under his supervision, Masterfont developed over 1600 Mac & PC fonts, including fonts submitted by more than 50 Israeli designers. Zvika Rosenberg has designed over 200 fonts for various operating systems, mostly Mac and Windows, in PostScript, TrueType and the new OpenType cross-platform font format. Zvika Rosenberg is a consultant and senior designer for clients such as Adobe, Apple, Ericsson, L’Oreal, Motorola, Pepsi, Philips, Samsung, Sendo and Tiro Typeworks. He is a member of IGDA and ATypI. Among many other prizes, Zvika Rosenberg was among the winners in bukva:raz!, the international type design competition of ATypI 2002; he won the first prize (Golden Cut Design award from IGDA) for type design of 4 type families; he won the award of excellence (IGDA Golden Cut Design award) for logo design.
