FF 9600, FF 0069, FF Voodoo and FF Voodoo Child are part of the “FF Dirty Faces 4” package, a collection of four grunge fonts from the 1990s.
Created by designer Fabrizio Schiavi, FF 9600 and FF 0069 are positive and negative versions of the same letterform. In fact, they are based on another typeface all together: Aurora Condensed, sent through a fax machine. FF 9600 and FF 0069 are a commentary by Schiavi on mass-media.
FF Voodoo and FF Voodoo Child have been created by Bremen-based designer Klaus Dieter Lettau. FF Voodoo is a solid typeface, while its “offspring” – FF Voodoo Child – is made up of outlines.
