A simple design principle produces simple shapes. FF Marten is a headline face. The first design by Martin Wenzel was geometrically constructed, but managed to maintain a character of its own. It was one of the first FontFont display typefaces for which a Cyrillic character set was designed. In the early 1990s, it was immediately picked up by young Russian lifestyle and music magazines. The typeface still has fans around the globe.
FF Marten supports 164 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, Russian, German and French in Latin and Cyrillic scripts. (Please note that not all languages are available for all formats.)
