In August 1995, Peter Biľak published a limited edition book titled “Illegibility” (Reese Brothers, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, USA; ISBN 0-911 479-08-2) wherein he debates the meaning of legibility. The book also marked the debut of FF Masterpiece, albeit under the working name DirtyBeauty. This typeface was an illustration of calligraphy gone wrong. Although the prize-winning and much-quoted book is now out of print, FF Masterpiece lives on as a family of two in the digital world.
FF Masterpiece supports 63 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German and French in Latin scripts. (Please note that not all languages are available for all formats.)
