PMN Caecilia Sans supports up to 81 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish, Italian, Polish, Kurdish (Latin), Romanian, Dutch, Hungarian, Kazakh (Latin), Czech, Serbian (Latin), Swedish, Belarusian (Latin), Croatian, Slovak, Finnish, Danish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Slovenian, Irish, Estonian, Basque, Icelandic, and Luxembourgian in Latin and other scripts.

UX, web and interactive designers working on digital interfaces, complex website projects, apps, games, kiosks and HTML ads will appreciate the on-screen high legibility performance of the PMN Caecilia® Sans family. Drawn by Peter Matthias Noordzij, the suite of faces share the foundation of his earlier PMN Caecilia slab serif design. While PMN Caecilia has proven to be a popular typeface in print and on screen, the addition of a sans serif counterpart provides more flexibility when creating complex designs. The family also benefits from a large character set supporting Western and many Eastern European languages – in addition to having small caps, old style and lining figures, a large suite of alternate characters.
Drawn specifically for on-screen imaging, PMN Caecilia Sans is a large family of seven weights, each with stylistic variations of roman, italic, cursive, oblique, with “headline” versions of the roman and oblique designs. “I didn’t design PMN Caecilia Sans for applications in the sense of a product,” explains Noordzij. “Instead, I designed it with a particular use in mind: to be adjustable to circumstances that occur when reading type on screen. Instead of addressing typographic problems of the past, my goal was to design a family that addresses typographic challenges of the future.”
PMN Caecilia Sans brings a lively, affable demeanor to hard copy and interactive projects, and has the breadth weights and depth of variations to take on the most complex and daunting of typographic tasks.
