Approached in 2013 to design a new yearbook for Offenbach University of Art and Design, Marc Schütz searched for a native typeface, ultimately deciding on Kabel. Since the existing digitizations didn’t have the features the design required, Schütz started with Koch’s master drawings, carefully adapting the forms to work in a range of weights and at various sizes. Nine weights in all.
