Vancouver-based Cindy Kinash started her own type label Cultivated Mind in 2012 with the release of her first type family, “Hello I Like You.” She’s since remained focused on the casual hand-​lettered genre, uncovering sunny and subdued textures along the way.

Many Cultivated Mind families include more than what’s expected. Full ranges of alternate forms come as all-inclusive Pro fonts with various stylistic sets, or can be obtained separately, broken down by set. Note especially the full-package approach, with supporting sans styles, catchwords, flourishes and ornaments, labels and extras, as well as textures replicating various print techniques.
