Fontar

The origins of Fontar is a graphic design research study that was a part of my PhD candidature at the Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. As a method to externalise graphic design knowledge, I documented my process during my work on a new typeface, from first sketches to the finished fonts. The result was the Tacit typeface, a sans serif typeface in two weights, Regular and Medium. Tacit is a clean and legible font, even at smaller sizes, suitable for both shorter and longer texts.
