"Oh my goodness, is that your handwriting? It looks like a font!" This is a fairly typical reaction when someone sees my handwriting for the first time. In college, professors would ask for photos of my notes to send to students who missed class. Now, a handwriting lesson is one of the first things I teach my elementary school students!
