Eugene Yukechev is a designer, typographer, and type designer who drifts between Berlin and Moscow. He was born in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1980. After obtaining a degree in philology and practicing editorial and graphic design for ten years, Eugene moved to Moscow to study type design. He is a graduate of the Type and Typography program at the British Higher School of Design in Moscow (2010). Since 2013, he has been running a publishing house “Schrift Publishers” and a Russian online journal “Type Journal”. He also designs typefaces for both corporate and editorial uses.
