Compliment is a script design which is based on Hans Helmut Matheis' typeface designed for Ludwig & Mayer in 1965. Hans Helmut Matheis was one of the leading designers at Ludwig & Meyer and designed numerous type faces. 

 Ralph M. Unger redrew and digitized this font in 2004. His work is based on artwork taken from old East German font catalogues.
