FF Chemo supports up to 50 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Irish, Basque, Luxembourgian, and Icelandic in Latin and other scripts.

First used in the books on (and by) the German techno scene, and techno design specifically, FF Localizer is at the same time a nostalgic 70s and a 90s typeface. Along the lines of “we thought this would be the future, then it wasn’t, but it didn’t matter after all, so here it is”. The additional FF Bionic and FF Chemo families (originally released as FF Localizer Clones) are Critzla's personal update of the FF Localizer Sans. He designed them as headline type for the new Localizer volume “Icons”, published by Gestalten Verlag, Berlin. The new books came out first with just one typeface combination, FF Localizer Sans and FF Localizer Italic. But to show the development, without destroying the corporate identity which was mainly determined by the typeface, a re-mix of the FF Localizer family seemed to be a good idea.
