Although Ingrid Liche admired several typefaces, she was always searching for a new font, one that was extremely legible, but which also radiated elegance and softness. For the new private Paracelsus-Spital Richterswil clinic in Switzerland, she created a piece of lettering just for the words of the hospital’s name. The clinic directors were so impressed by the sign that they commissioned her to complete the rest of the alphabet. Thus was FF Clair Medium born! Liche developed the design further, until she had all five weights of the current FF Clair family.
FF Clair supports 63 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German and French in Latin scripts. (Please note that not all languages are available for all formats.)
