FF Elementa Rough supports up to 82 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish, Italian, Polish, Kurdish (Latin), Azerbaijani (Latin), Romanian, Dutch, Hungarian, Czech, Kazakh (Latin), Serbian (Latin), Swedish, Belarusian (Latin), Croatian, Slovak, Finnish, Danish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Slovenian, Irish, Estonian, Basque, Luxembourgian, and Icelandic in Latin and other scripts.

FF Elementa is a complete family, with regular, bold and companion italic styles, which is something of a rarity in the world of digital typewriter-style faces. Designed by Mindaugas Strockis, its forms came from a dream of how the perfect typewriter really should be: one whose text is always tidy, clean and sharp – while also offering all sorts of diacritics and special symbols. While FF Elementa is a family with bolds and italics, it nevertheless maintains its earnest, old-fashioned typewriter appeal. In the spirit of the FF Magda and FF Trixie families, Strockis later added a more gritty, dirtied-up version of his design: FF Elementa Rough.
