Linotype WaterFlag supports 63 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German and French in Latin scripts. (Please note that not all languages are available for all formats.)
Italian designer Mauro Carichini created Linotype WaterFlag Regular after being inspired by the way distortion affects letters underwater. As a starting point, he created a strict, geometric alphabet. This was then distorted, by means of incorporating wavy forms into the design. This gives the letters a dynamic and moving feeling. The typeface is well suited for headlines. Linotype WaterFlag Regular is included in the Take Type 4 collection from Linotype GmbH.
