Wolpe Pegasus maintains all the inconsistencies and oversized, mismatched serifs of Berthold Wolpe’s original typeface, and incorporates them into a design tuned for 21st-century print and digital environments. Monotype type designer, Toshi Omagari, also added an italic bold weight, a suite of small capital letters, and an extra set of numerals and glyphs for modern usage.
Long and short-form copy in web pages, blog posts and print project all benefit from Wolpe Pegasus’ distinctive personality. In addition, Wolpe Pegasus is one of the five designs in The Wolpe Collection of typefaces.
